The Divinity and the Man
December 13, 2021
Summited by Sarah Poggi
The crushing pain
as she trudged,
across the smooth and gorgeous honey.
Singing together a mad symphony of shadows,
The sea ripped at her sanity;
His blood was some of a repulsive language,
Screaming in a drunk riddle of agony.
His black rain rusted her beauty…
The goddess left her raw song boiling amid the sordid Earth and she asked the man
“How can you breathe peacefully, knowing you have wreaked havoc on my people?”
